According to local media sources of Indonesia, three companies in Indonesia will jointly invest about $ 300 million to build the world's largest garbage power station in Bekasi area of island Java. The plant will use the most advanced, efficient and environmentally friendly waste treatment technology in the world to daily consume garbage of 2,000 tons. The designed generating capacity of the power station is 138,000 kWh/d. It is estimated that the power station will be completed and put into operation in 2016.
