Crompton Greaves (CG) has bagged an order from PT PLN for setting up a total of 36 transformer bays around Indonesia, valued at around $20 million. These 36 extension bays will comprise 2 lots – the Java and Bali island extension bays representing Lot 1 and Sumatra, Kalimantan and the Sulawesi islands representing Lot 2. This project is being funded by IBRD – World Bank and is aimed at enhancing the performance of PT PLN’s Transmission Grid.
