Alstom has won a contract worth more than €61m to design, supply and install the 30MW Karaha geothermal plant in West Java, Indonesia.
Under the deal with PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, the French company will wrap up commissioning at the project by the end of 2016.
“We are delighted to play a key role in helping Indonesia achieve its energy goals,” said Alstom vice president in charge of renewable steam plants Steven Moss.
