Jakarta. A $1 billion loan from the China-backed Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank will over the next four years finance development across the country, a top official said on Friday.

The loan would be part of a $39.8 billion financing plan from multilateral and bilateral foreign loans for 116 infrastructure projects across the country by 2019, Wismana Adi Suryabrata, a deputy of financing at the Development Planning Agency, said.
