Phenomenon:
--- The drum water level is lower than the normal. Or the water level can not been seen form the windows.
--- Low water level alarming signals are issued.
--- The steam flow change to be larger than the actual effective feedwater flow immediately.
Reason:
--- Pipe bursting of the boiler feedwater pipeline or the heating surface. The operating personnel neglect to monitor the water level.
--- Equipment accident occurs. Just like the automatically water supply fails or there is untrue water level caused by the clogging of water level.
--- Boiler water-discharging system leakage or sewage system leakage. Or the discharging amount is over.
Treatment:
--- At first, mutual comparison should be made to all the water level indications. Determine whether the water shortage is true or not and find out the water shortage conditions.
--- For the water shortage which is relatively serious, the emergency shutdown should be requested quickly.
---For the water shortage which is not serious, normally there is no fault which would influence the operation, most of them are caused by the improper operation, the feedwater should be strengthened manually and the water level should be recovered to be normal.
