Baking means the drying process of the front furnace wall lining and the insulation layer before the operation of the new-installed boiler. Normally it takes about 240 to 300 hours. As the new-installed furnace wall contains some water, if it put into operation without slow drying, the heated and evaporated water would produce the volume expansion and a certain pressure and result in furnace wall cracks, deformation or damage, or seriously the furnace wall would fall off. Simultaneously, baking would speed up the physical and chemical changes of furnace wall material and improve its strength or stability, so that it can work for a long time under high temperature. Therefore, the boiler must be baked with low heat according to certain requirements before it puts into operation officially. The baking method here only can be regarded as the reference.
--- The wear-resistant refractory material are mainly arranged on these parts, just like the furnace, the cyclone separator, the feeding leg, import and export flue,the back-feeding box or the start-up burner.
--- The keeping method of the wear-resistant refractory material which includes the oven curve should be designed by the material manufacturer, the user and the commissioning unit.
--- The air-discharge hole (φ8～φ10) should be opened every 500mm on the back-feeding leg, the back-feeding box of water-cooling separator, it aims to discharge water in the wear-resistant refractory material during the baking process. Seal weld them after boil-out.
--- The sampling point of the wear-resistant material should be preset on the cyclone separator separator outlet flue back-feeding device, and the water content should be measured to determine the baking effect.
--- Normally, heating source for boiler baking adopt the installed start-up igniter. If the adjacent furnace heating device can be combined, a certain baking effect can be achieved. The woods can be adopted for the baking at the beginning period.
