Working Principles of Bimetallic Thermometer

1. It has two sheets of metal with different expansion coefficient firmly bonded together, one end is fixed and the other end is connected to a pointer through the drive mechanism.

2. When the pointer temperature changes, due to the different expansion coefficient, the bimetallic sheets produce angular displacement to drive the pointer to indicate the corresponding temperature, which is the working principle of bimetallic thermometer.
