Working Principles for Low-pressure Heater

The heater is located between the condenser and the deaerator in backheating water supply system.
The effect of low pressure heater is to use the steam that has been used  partly within the steam turbine. The steam from the steam turbine is used for heating the water supply, to increase the water temperature, reduce amount that is discharged from the steam turbine to the condenser, thus the energy source is reduced and the efficiency of the circulating of heating system is improved. The structure of the heater mostly is vertical tube plate type. The heater heating surface is generally composed of straight tube bundle or u-shaped tube bundle made of brass tube or seamless steel tube. The heated water enters to the separated water chamber side from upper water-intake pipe, then separated water chamber side, then flows into the u-shaped tube bundle. U tube in the stem space of the heater absorbs the steam heat and transfer the heat from pipe wall to the water inside the pipe.  the heated water flows through the water chamber exit of the heater.(szj)
