What is the formula to calculate kinetic energy?

The equation for calculating kinetic energy is KE = ½mv², where m is the mass of the object and v is its velocity. When an object is at its highest, it has the most potential or stored energy; at its lowest point, it has its most kinetic energy.

Kinetic energy is the energy of an object in motion. There are three forms of kinetic energy: vibrational, rotational and translational. Vibrational kinetic energy is the energy due to vibrational motion; similarly, rotational kinetic energy is the energy due to rotational motion. Translational kinetic energy is the energy of an object moving from one location to another.
