1. If the soot blowing system is mechanically jammed, the manufacturer of it shall be informed to locally shake out the soot blower.
2. When the pressure control gate is in failure, the soot blower shall be checked and removed to stop soot blowing. The maintenance person shall be informed for handling the failure.
3. If the soot blower leaks, it shall be removed to prevent the heating surface from damaging.
4. When the soot blower completely enters to the hearth of the combustion chamber, if the combustion deteriorates and fire is extinguished, it is required to solve of problem of loss of ignition. If the fire is not extinguished, the soot blower shall be withdrawn to stabilize the combustion.
