1. If the leakage is slight, the load for operation can be reduced and the leakage shall be regularly checked, the standby boiler shall be put into use as soon as possible, and the time for boiler shut-down shall be asked for instructions. 

2. If the failure becomes serious and the water level of the steam drum cannot be maintained, the boiler shall be stopped immediately. 

3. After the boiler is shut down, the induced draft fan shall be kept running in order to exhaust the steam in the flue.
