Surveillance and Inspection of Boiler Induced Draft Fan in Operation

1. For boiler induced draft fan, the listening needle is used to inspect the operation sounds of all bearings, hydraulic couplers, motors, impellers, in order to discover abnormal grating, crash, and pneumatic noise in time.
2. Inspect the vibration situation of all bearings, and confirm the degree of vibration of the bearing in the induced draught fan. If the vibration is very fierce, it is required to report timely and contact the maintainer for handling.
3. Inspect the temperatures of all bearings. If the thermometer is equipped on bearing tilting fillet, give priority to meter surveillance. Monitor the correctness indicated by meter with hand touching; touch it with hand if there is no thermometer, and roughly judge the temperature. If finding that the temperature rises abnormally but still within the allowed range, use thermometer to measure exact value, and ascertain the causes quickly, turn on cooling water amount or increase lubricating oil quantity. If the temperature rises sharply and exceeds allowable value, and even smoke, it is required to stop the operation of boiler induced draft fan immediately.
4. The oil level of bearing shall be within the specified range without abnormal declining or leakage and with good oil quality. Inspect whether the oil is normal in oil ring for bearing lubricated by oil ring.
5. For the bearing lubricating oil system with forced-oil circulation of the boiler induced draft fan, it is required to inspect the oil level of fuel tank, oil quality and oil temperature to confirm they are within normal range, to inspect the oil pump operation for abnormal noise and check the functional parameters of oil pressure, oil flow, oil supply temperature etc. to confirm they are normal. Oil system pipeline shall be sealed without leakage.
