In order to ensure the reliable operating of electrostatic precipitator, before formal commissioning or reusing after long time shutdown, the electrostatic precipitator shall be trial run.

         1. Place the high-voltage isolator on the earthing position.

         2. Check the parts of the electrostatic precipitator proper to confirm they are in good state or not.

         3. Check whether the space between the electrodes is accurate or not.

         4. Check whether there are sundries in the electric field or not.

         5. Check whether the parts are rotating flexibly or not.

         6. Check whether the earting of the parts is reliable or not.

         7. Check whether there is person in the dangerous zone or not, if necessary, call the roll    according to the numbers of people.

         8. Check whether the manhole is closed and sealed well before power- on. 

         9. All the isolators and insulated shafts shall be clean, not damaged and no cracking.

         10. Use 2500V megameter to measure and record the readings of wire of each electric field , if the reading is infinite, it is unqualified.

         11. Check whether the transformer leaks oil or not, check the oil level and temperature and record them.

         12. Use megameter to measure and record the forward direction and backward resistance of diode groups with the measurement method for high-voltage power lines, namely the high-voltage casing of rectifier transformer. Regarding the measurement procedures and qualified readings, please refer to the instruction book of transformer/rectifier . 

         13. Use 500V megameter to test the earthing resistance of primary winding of all the motors , electric heater and rectifier transformers.

         14 . Test the entire interlocking system for operation and once integrated locking and unlocking operating cycle. 

         15. Open the ash discharging device for one hour and check the working condition of ash discharging device. 

         16. Operate the rapping device for 2 hours and check whether each link is normal or not.

         17. Check whether the electric wiring of each part of the main circuit is correct or not. 

         18. Check whether the voltage of power supply network is correct or not.

         19. According to the requirement of electric operating instruction, test the rectifier transformer before it is electrified ( not connected with electric field). 

         20. The electric heater inside the incubator is electrified for 4 hours to reach constant temperature of dew temperature of 10 to 20 ℃ above. 

         21. All the manholes are completely closed, the interlocking procedures are accomplished, the personnel evacuate to the safe area.  

         22. According to the requirement of starting and shutdown and the instruction in the electric operating instruction, electrify the electrostatic precipitator , making the voltage slowly rise . The voltage in each electric field shall be stable. The primary current, voltage, secondary current and voltage data of each electric field shall be recorded.
