1. Before damping-down, the boiler equipment shall be completly checked once, the equipment defects that are found shall be recorded and reported to the technical division of production. 

2. Before damping-down, the coal feed amount shall be increased properly in order to keep the material layer differential pressure slightly higher. When the bed temperature rises to 30 ℃ to 50 ℃, firstly the coal feeding shall be stopped. When the bed temperature has tendency of decline, the secondary fan, the primary fan and the induced draft fan shall be stoppe and in the same time, then the dample baffle plate of the fan shall be closed and the circulating ash shall be discharged.
