The supercooling degree of the condenser refers to the temperature difference of the condensed water with the exhaust steam . In theory their temperature shall be the same, but in fact, due to the reasons of condenser and the operation, the temperature of exhaust steam is lower than that of the condensed water, the reasonable value shall probably no more than 3 to 4 degrees, if is too low, there are many disadvantages such as the thermal efficiency is reduced and the condensed water is unqualified and so on.
The temperature difference between the exhaust steam of steam turbine and the exhaust steam is called the condensate supercooling degree. It is normally not larger than 2 ℃.Reasons of Super-cooling Degree Increased are:
1. In the condenser the copper pipe is overmuch, layout is not reasonable.
2. The cooling water temperature is too low, the water is too much.
3. Air exists in the steam condenser side.
4. The condenser copper pipe bursts.
5. The hot well level in the condenser heat is high, part of the copper pipes is submerged .
