1.Before the mass flowmeter is put into use, it is required to check whether its installation meets the requirement, whether the pipe has been purified and cleaned, and whether the pressure test has been finished or not.

2.After the mass flowmeter has been electrified and preheated for 30 minutes, start the fluid operation until the temperature of sensor is equal to the operation temperature of the fluid, turn off the downstream valve and ensure there is no leakage and the pipe is full of fluid, set the flowmeter to zero.

3.Open the valves of upper stream and down stream, close the by-pass valve, put the flowmeter into use. 

4.When the flowmeter is not used, as for the medium easily scaling, the blowdown valve shall be opened to drain the medium in the flowmeter. As for the medium easily solidifying, it shall be drained and cleaned by low-pressure steam or plant air to ensure that there is no residual medium inside the pipe. 

5.When the flowmeter is used for measuring gas, the pressure tapping shall be within the included angle of 45°between the upper part of the pipe and the pipe mid-perpendicular.

6.When the flowmeter is used for measuring steam, the pressure tapping shall be within the included angle of 45°between the upper part of the pipe and the pipe horizontal center line.

7.When the flowmeter is used for measuring liquid, the pressure tapping shall be within the included angle of 45°between the lower part of the pipe and the pipe horizontal center line. 

8. The horizontal connecting pipe for measuring gas (or liquid ) shall be provided with piping for draining the condensed liquid (or gas) with gradient of 1：10~1.
