Problems on the Adjustment Deflection of the Tapping of Rectifier Transformer

In the production practice of high-voltage ESP, it is often encountered that the actual voltage of electric field is running under 66 or below 60kV. As we all know, all domestic rectifier transformers have 3 groups of tappings at present, they are 60, 66, 72kV(normal) respectively and also a common port.

In the beginning time of debugging, we generally put the tapping on the group of 72kV. But in practice, most of electric fields can’t rise to about 72kV. According to the principle of rectifier transformer, we can come to a conclusion that, if this electric field is running under 50kV while the tapping of rectifier transformer is put on the end of 72kV again, the total efficiency of this power supply system is relatively low, which has direct influence on dust collection efficiency.

Let’s take an example, if the general operation voltage of a electric field is 63kV, then we shall adjust the tapping of this rectifier transformer to 66kV grade; if the general operation voltage of a electric field is 55kV, we shall adjust the tapping of this rectifier transformer to 60kV degree; after such measures are adopted, the silicon controlled conduction angle of power supply system may be increased to certain degree.

There are several advantages in the adoption of the above measures: firstly, the efficiency of this rectifier transformer and power supply system will be increased; secondly, it is very beneficial for the increase of dust collection effect, which is proved fully in practice.
