Overall checking the Boiler Proper:  

1. Each hole and door shall be complete, and can be tightly closed. The glass on the fire hole shall be complete and clean. The positive pressure hole door of combustion chamber shall be specially closed tightly. 

2. Open the boiler door, check the ventilation hoods of the air distribution board to confirm they are complete, they shall be free of obvious deformation and damage phenomenon. The small holes of the ventilation hoods shall not be blocked. 

3. Each thermocouple thermometer shall be complete and shall be free of damage phenomenon;  the position of accessories of each measuring instrument and control device shall be correct, complete and tight. 

4. The  explosion-proof door of air chamber shall be  complete and tight; the explosion-proof door and its surrounding shall be free of sundries and shall act flexibly and reliable. 

5. Check the valve, throttle and damper to confirm that they  meet the following requirements: 

(1) They are well connected with the pipe, the flange screws are firm, the handle is in good condition and is fixed firmly; The valve stem is clean, is free of  bending and corrosion phenomenon, and the switch is flexible. 

(2) The packing of the valve shall have proper tight gap, the thread is screwed down; the heat preservation of main valves is good. 

(3) The connecting rod joint, tie rod, and contact of the transmission device are complete; the pins of each part are fixed firmly and the electric control devices are in good condition.

(4) The complete signs are available, its name, serial number, switching direction are clear and correct. 

(5) The opening instructions of position indicator is consistent with the actual location. All the control dampers and baffles shall be opened/closed flexibly without jamming phenomenon. 

(6) All the remote electric operating positions of the control damper and baffles shall be complete, reliable, shall be opened/closed flexibly with correct direction.

(7) The indication of water level gauge is clear . The steam valve, water valve and water drain valve shall be tight and do not leak, and shall be opened/closed flexibly. The installation position of water level gauge and its scale shall be correct, and shall have obvious red line at the normal water level and water level of high and low limit position.
