1. Preparation before Shutdown :

(1) Test the high-pressure electric oil pump, AC lubrication oil pump and DC lubricating oil pump to confirm they are normal. 

(2) Contact each department to make preparation and prepare the necessary tools. 

(3) The operation cannot be started only after the leader's order is received. 

2. Reduction of electrical load: 

(1) During reducing the electric load, timely adjust the gland sealing and the water level of hot well. 

(2)During reducing the electrical load, one can properly contact with the electric department to reduce part of the thermal load in order to ensure that there are adequate electrical load to drive large amount of thermal load. 

(3) The thermal load shall be reduced at speed of 5 t/min, the thermal expansion and vibration of the unit shall be noticed. 

(4) When the electrical load reduces to 6000 k, the extraction steam flow rate drops to zero. 

(5)When the thermal load is reduced to zero, the pressure regulator shall exit. (6)When the electric load is reduced to 6000 kw, the secondary steam extractor shall be stopped. 

3. When the electric load is reduced to 4000 kw, the low-pressure heater shall be stopped: 

(1) Close the steam-admission valve of the low-pressure heater. 

(2) Close the inlet/outlet valve of the steam trap. 

(3) Close the air valve and the steam and water balance valve, open the water draining valve and open the bypass valve and close the inlet/outlet valve.
