1. Precautions in testing: 

(1) There are ignition devices in instrument, so it is better to operate in ventilated cabinet   (don’t start draught fan), in order to prevent external airflow from causing test errors. 

(2)The temperature sensor is made from glass. Don’t collide it with other articles in use. 

(3) Clean the open cup every time when changing sample. There shall be no other  articles in interval between the open cup and the heater, so as to keep good heat conduction.

(4)Don’t press and lift up the measuring head by hand or other articles. Don’t push and pull the ignition rod by hand, in order to avoid mechanical damage. 

(5) If the instrument can’t run normally, it shall be firstly inspected whether the signal line is well connected and inserted or not, then the instrumental self-checking function is used for checking, in order to check whether it can work normally or not. The user shall not  dismantle or repair it by them.

2. Maintenance

(1) If the flashing point sensor has been used for a long term, it is easy to adhere to greasy dirt, so the detection precision is affected. It shall be frequently cleaned with the gasoline or petroleum ether carefully.

(2) If the instrument is not in use, the open cup shall be taken out.
