In process of operation, due to deterioration of cooling conditions, the tube wall temperature of the heating surface tube rises suddenly with short time, making the tensile strength of steel drop sharply. Under the effect of medium pressure, the fire-facing side with the highest temperature firstly generates plastic deformation, the tube diameter is swelling and then the tube wall bulges and becomes thin, subsequently, the tube shears, breaks and bursts. This tube bursting is called short-time tube bursting, it is also called short-time overheating tube bursting, or is called accelerated creepage damage.
