Operation after the Rotor Becomes Static During Shutdown of C12-4.90/0.981 Turbine

1. The rotor becomes static, and at the same time the vacuum reaches to zero. Stop steam supplying to the gland sealing(close the steam supplying valve of the gland sealing and open the water draining valve), stop the heater of gland sealing( close the steam-admission valve of working steam and the bleeding valve of gland sealing).

2. Remove the interlocking, stop the running of the condensate pump, close the outlet valve of the condensate pump, close the recirculation valve of the condensate and open the draining valve of condensate to the trench. After the condensate pump is stopped, a certain liquid level of the hot well shall be kept. If the pump is stopped for a long time, the water stored in the hot water well shall be drained.

3. When the rotor becomes static, the turning gear shall be started and it shall be operated for consecutive 8-10 hours. When the cylinder metal temperature drops to 250 ℃, the turning gear shall be turned at regularly (once every half an hour, turn the rotor to 180 ° every time) until the cylinder metal temperature drop to 150 ℃. During long-term shutdown, the turning gear shall be turned once a week.

4. Record the idling time of the rotor, and compare it with that in last shutdown. At this moment the high pressure electric oil pump can be switched to AC lubrication oil pump operation.

5. After the rotor becomes static, the exhaust temperature is lower than 50 ℃, stop the circulating pump (release the interlocking and shut down its outlet electric valve).

6. When the oil temperature at outlet of the oil cooler drops to below 35 ℃, stop the oil cooler (close the water intake valve).

7. If long term downtime is required, close the steam cut-off valve, open the water draining valves of the steam turbine proper and the steam pipelines.
