1. Instruments and equipment:
(1) cupel: Measurement of Ash Content in the Same Coal Sample
(2) The muffle furnace :Measurement of Ash Content in the Same Coal Sample
(3) Electronic balance : Sensitivity of 0.0001 g.
2. Measuring methods:Weigh the reduced ash or cinder of 1±0.1g( (particle size is less than 0.2 mm) and put it on the cupel and flat it and then place them in the inlet of the preheated muffle furnace of 815±10℃. After a few minutes, push the cupel directly to the thermal zone to burn it for 30 min. Take it out and cool it for 2 ~ 3 min, then immediately move it into the dryer, coo it to room temperature, and weigh it.
3. The results of calculation:
Combustible content in fly ash and slag (%) is calculated according to the following formula:
G1
CR= ×100
G
Where:
CR - the combustible content in %.
G1 - weight reduced of ash or slag after being burnt, g.
G - weight of the ash or slag weighed, g
4. The permissible error is shown in table
The same laboratory (%) | 0.5 |
