Installation Specification of Mechanical Quantity Sensor

1. Installation of Inductive displacement measurement device No damages shall be found in  appearance inspectionIntervals shall comply with the manufacturer’s regulations and  generally are 0.8 ~ 1.4 mm.
Insulation resistance value is not less than 5 Μ Ω. The zero position of installation shall be in correspondence with zero graduation of  mechanical hand wheel. The location shall conform to the manufacturer’s requirement  and shall be fixed firmly.
2. The cam edge of turbine rotors which corresponds to the iron cores of sensors for axial displacement and thermal expansion difference  shall be  smooth. The intervals of the parts and the installation requirements shall comply with the manufacturer’s regulations. . The adjustment to the screw rotation shall enable  the sensor to move evenly and smoothly.
3. The absolute expansion measurement device shall be used in steam turbine cold-state.
4. The vibration sensor shall not be vibrated or  struck  severely during installation or transportation and shall  take its place at the end of the steam turbine installation to prevent damages. The vibration sensor of bearing bush shall be installed onto the finishing plane of the bearing cover, which shall be a rigid connection. The installation interval between the shaft vibration sensor and the shaft shall comply with the manufacturer‘s regulations.
5. The installation interval between the eccentricity sensor and the shaft shall comply with the manufacturer’s  regulations.
6. The length of the high frequency cable between the sensor and proximitor for eddy current steam turbine supervisory instrument shall not be changed wilfully.
7. The proximitor for eddy current steam turbine supervisory instrument
must be insulative and floating during the installation and when high-frequency connector passes through the turbine unit  housing.
