Before the boiler is started, it shall be inspected from the following several aspects.
The boiler proper part
1.The scaffolding for maintenance has been removed without any sundry; The heating surface is clean, the burner is complete and the blowing equipment is complete.
2. When no one is in the tail heating surface and flue, close the manhole door.
3. When confirming there is no person in the flue in the hearth, close the manhole door.
4. The inflation indicator is normal and no blockage for expansion.

Inspection of steam and water system:
1. The valve action shall be flexible, the valve switching is in the right direction, and the name plate and standard are complete.
2. The local  water level gauge of the drum shall be clear and transparent and has good lighting.
3. The safety door shall be complete, without sundry around.
4. The steam-water pipe insulation shall be always complete, the support shall be firm, and the temporary measures for maintenance shall have been demolished.
5. Each expansion indicator shall be flexible to use.

Inspection of rotating mechanical part:
1. Check the coupling, the safety cover and anchor bolt, they shall be firmly without loose.
2. Check the motor earthling line, it shall be good.
3. Check the fan entrance baffle, they shall be flexibly opened/closed, and the direction and the opening indicating shall be correct.
4. No friction phenomenon shall be found during  temporary measures.
5. Check the lube oil quality, oil amount,  they shall be qualified; The cooling water shall be smooth.
6. Check coal feeding system,  check slag discharging system and check the fuel oil system.（lsh）
