1.Within 4-6 hours after the boiler is stopped, the baffle plates of all of the vents and the gas duct shall be closed in order to prevent rapidly cooling of the boiler. 

2. After 4-6 hours of boiler shutdown, the baffle plate of the induced draft fan can be opened to gradually vent and the necessary water-feeding and water-draining shall be conducted. 

3. After 8-10 hours, water is fed to and drained from the boiler again. If there is necessity to accelerate cooling, the induced draft fan can be started and the numbers of water-draining and water-feeding can be appropriately increased. 

4. When the steam drum pressure is below 0.2 MPa, open the air valve of the steam drum. 5. When the boiler water temperature doe not exceed 80 ℃, drain the boiler water completly. 

6. During emergency cooling for maintainance after boiler shutdown, the induced draft fan can be started after the boiler has been stopped for 4 to 6 hours, and the baffle plate can be slightly opened for strengthening ventilation and the numbers of of water-draining and water-feeding can be increased. In process of cooling, the upper and lower temperature difference of steam drum wall shall not be less than 50 ℃. 

7. When the boiler steam pressure has not decreased to zero or the motor power supply has not been cut off, the person monitoring the panel is not allowed to leave his work post. 8. After the boiler is shutdown, the problems found during boiler shurdown shall be recorded.
