1. The gauge surface is clear, the steam drum pressure gauge and the pressure gauge at superheated steam outlet  has red line at the working pressure gauge position. 

2. The gauge pointer points to the zero point. 

3. The calibration is qualified, the gauge is pasted with calibration mark and is sealed. 

4. The lighting is adequate; the pressure gauge is put into use. 

Check the safety valve, it shall meet the following requirements: 

1. The exhaust pipe and drain pipe shall be complete and smooth, and shall be installed firmly. 

2. They shall freely act, and shall be free of sundries, dust and rust that hinder their movement.
