Causes of Low -Temperature Corrosion on Heating Surface at Rear Part

During burning sulfur in fuel generates SO2, SO2 combines oxygen in flue gas to generate SO3. When the temperature of the heating surface is lower than the dew point of flue gas, the water vapor in flue gas combines SO3 to generate sulfate steam, condensing on the heating surface, thus causing low temperature corrosion on heating surface. Low temperature corrosion easily occurs at the cold end of the air preheater.
