1. After the stoker receives the order from the shift-chief operator or the monitor of boiler for damping down the boiler, he shall immediately contact with the operators of electricity steam turbine, chemical water, fuel and adjacent boiler for make preparation of damping down.
2. Before the boiler is damped down, its load shall be reduced to safe operating load and the operation shall be kept stable.
3. Before the boiler is damped down, stop discharging the slag , keep higher bed materials, control the bed pressure higher than the operating bed pressure of 200-500P (8.5 KPa), at the same time, the temperature of the bed materials are controlled at 930-970 ℃.
4. The heating surface of the boiler shall be soot-blown integrally.
5. The respective control system shall be switched to manual control.
6. Stop all the fans, quickly close the primary fan, the secondary fan, the damper of the induced draft fan, and close the inlet baffle.
7. Tightly close each ash-discharging door, slag-discharging door and manholes of combustion chamber and the flue, as well as the inspection hole, in order to reduce heat loss as much as possible.
8. According to the situation of load-reducing and the requirement of side wall of the heated surface, open the water draining valve of superheater to cool the superheater. According to the situation and main steam heater, timely adjust the air bleeding valve in order to prevent the safety valve from acting and steam pressure from dropping too fast.
9. According to the main steam pressure situation, contact the steam turbine operator to shut off the electric main steam door, open the draining valve in front of the main steam valve and the draining valve in front of the superheater header .
10. After the damping-down is finished, observe the temperature changing of bed material. If the temperature rises abnormally, causes shall be found to eliminate the faults.
